How we maintain customers/prospect

Go to the maintain menu, and there open customers/prospects.
 















After opening the customer/prospect this window will open. In this window the software will ask u customer ID, Name.
After that if we go on tab area there are some tab like General, Sales Default, Payment Defaults, Custom Fields and History.






In general tab the software will ask you the customer contact, bill address, city, country, sales tax, customer type, telephone etc.

After filling all the fields go to sales default tab. In this tab there are some contents like sales rep, general ledger account, open purchase order (open purchase  order means that if some of our customers place an order before we are not computerized then in this field we will gona write the order  no of that order. Then there is a field of ship via, resale no, and pricing level.








After that go to the next tab that is payment defaults. If our customer’s mode of payment is credit card then u have to fill these fields. Like cardholder’s name, address, city, credit card number, credit card expiry date.



















After that there is a custom field tab. In this tab there are some fields like second contact. Second contact means that if you want to add second contact of our customer, then there is reference etc, these fields can be change and/or enabled on the customer default window.






Then there is a tab of history. In this tab there is a complete history of customer.

Like your last invoice date, last payment date and there balances.












Now the procedure of maintain customers/prospects. To save the information press ALT+S.
